Claire @clairelaluna, one of our Twitter followers, met Jamie yesterday at WonderCon in Anaheim. According to her, Jamie was super sweet and even gave her a hug! We are very happy for Clare and can certainly say that Jamie never disappoints 
The following is a copy of her story:
After finally winning a raffle to get wristbands to meet the cast, I was extremely excited and literally in tears because I have tried so hard to meet Jamie before. I was shaking so bad as the line to the autograph signing kept moving. I passed Cassandra Clare and got her autograph and then Jamie was next. I tried so hard not to be nervous so I said “Hi I’m Claire! Nice to meet you!!” and Jamie stopped what he was doing, put his pen down, and shook my hand and said “Hi Claire! Nice to meet you too! I’m Jamie!” He was the only cast member to actually shake my hand! I then told him how I’ve been trying to meet him for YEARS and it’s been so difficult until now. He joked “have I really been that elusive?” in his cute british accent lol. Then I told him that I loved how he has been taking over all my favorite franchises: Twilight, Harry Potter, and now The Mortal Instruments. He said “I know, I know! I’m so sorry I can’t help it!” and I said “No no! I love it keep going!!”…….AND THEN HE HUGGED ME! I pretty much died right then and there. The last thing I said before I had to move on to Lily Collins next was “You should tweet more. I miss your tweets!” and he simply just chuckled and nodded his head as I moved on.
I had a really good moment with Jamie that I was kind of holding up the line. I didn’t realize that the people in front of me were long gone and here I was stuck at Jamie. I still had Lily Collins and Kevin Zegers next and they were just kind of waiting for me to finish with Jamie omg LOL. A bit embarrassed about that but I don’t regret any second of it!
